Rosh Hashanah is a little over a week away and it is time to start working on my menu. Let's help each other out with some menu ideas. The menu doesn't have to be complicated or overwhelming to still make for a delicious yom tov meal. Here is a sample of a meal I would make for Rosh Hashanah:
Challah
Simanim
Chicken Soup with Matzah Balls and Ghondi
Brisket
Honeyed Carrots
Persian Basmati Rice with Tadig
Roasted Broccoli
Honey Cake
I can assure you, no one is hungry after that meal. I love to mash both my Ashkenazi roots with my husband's Persian cuisine to make a well blended yom tov meal. What would you add to the meal? What dishes do you have the most trouble deciding on?
